Born in La Paz, Bolivia, Lex Reds is a Bolivian-Italian singer, songwriter, digital artist, and performer whose work exists at the intersection of music, visual art, and theatrical expression. Drawn to the arts from an early age, she has spent her life exploring different forms of storytelling, shaping a distinctive artistic identity that brings together sound, imagery, character, and emotion.
At 23, Lex Reds unveils her debut album, Redd or Not, Here I Come — a project years in the making and a defining milestone in her artistic journey. More than a musical release, the album is an invitation into the many worlds that shape her creative vision: the dramatic language of musical theatre, the raw intimacy of songwriting, and the imaginative universe of her work as a digital artist. Together, these disciplines form a singular artistic experience in which music, visuals, and performance become different expressions of the same creative vision.
Her artistic development took a significant turn in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she lived for several years, deepening her relationship with performance and developing the foundations of her first major musical project. It was there that her creative passions began to converge, allowing her to cultivate a world of her own — one shaped by theatricality, alternative expression, and a fascination with the beautiful, the grotesque, and the unconventional.
Beyond her artistic work, Lex Reds is an active voice in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. Her commitment to equality, visibility, and freedom of expression reflects her belief that art can exist as more than entertainment: it can challenge conventions, create space for underrepresented voices, and connect people through shared experiences. She also uses her voice to support humanitarian causes, including solidarity with Palestine, standing for human dignity, justice, and the rights of people whose lives are affected by oppression and conflict. Her activism extends to the environment as well, and she speaks out for the protection of the planet and the communities who depend on it. She also stands against the unethical use of artificial intelligence, and through her own work she shows that human beings are fully capable of creating.
Her artistic universe embraces contrasts: darkness and glamour, vulnerability and extravagance, fantasy and uncomfortable truths. These elements extend beyond aesthetics, informing the way she approaches both her creative work and the world around her. For Lex Reds, individuality is something to be celebrated, and art is a space where people should be free to exist without fear of judgment or exclusion.
With Redd or Not, Here I Come, Lex Reds opens the door to that universe for the first time, bringing together years of artistic exploration into a body of work that reflects her many influences, identities, and creative ambitions.
For Lex Reds, art is not confined to a single medium. It is a world to be built, a voice to be heard, and a space where every story deserves to exist.
